Overview

During Toll-Free Verification, carriers need to verify the authenticity and legitimacy of the applying entity. For Chinese cross-border e-commerce sellers, the core challenge lies in accurately converting Chinese business license information into internationally recognized verification formats.

This guide combines requirements from the official carrier application form (TFN Verified Sender Request Form) to provide detailed instructions on how to prepare these key documents to ensure first-time approval.

Note: All submitted business documents must be consistent with the company information, including your website Opt-In page and Privacy Policy. Data inconsistency is one of the most common reasons for verification rejection.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 Q1: What if I don't have a US EIN? +

A: You can use China's 18-digit Unified Social Credit Code as the BRN and select "Unified Social Credit Code (USCC)" as the Business Registration Type. This is the statutory registration number for Chinese companies and is fully recognized by carriers.

 Q2: Is a Chinese-language business license acceptable? +

A: Yes. However, you need to provide an English translation or Pinyin for your business name, or use the unified English name registered on overseas platforms.

Q3: How do I fill in the fields if the brand name differs from the license name? +

A: Fill in the official English name from the license in the Business Name field, and indicate the DBA in parentheses. Example: Shenzhen XYZ Technology Co., Ltd. (DBA: ABC Shoes).

 Q4: Can I use a personal email? +

A: No. You must use a corporate domain email (e.g., support@yourbrand.com). Public emails like Gmail, Yahoo, or QQ are considered high-risk and will very likely result in verification rejection.

Q5: Can I apply without an independent website? +

In principle, no. Carriers require a publicly accessible website to verify business authenticity. If the website is under construction, you may provide an active social media profile (Facebook/Instagram) as an alternative, but the profile must have complete business introduction and contact information.
